Fungal Portraits are exactly like the fungus in the original culture. Each portrait is created by focus stacking about 10-20 photographs, depending on the size of the original culture. Under no circumstances, it is not possible to have the same phenotype even when the fungus is re-cultured over and over from the same genetic stock. This makes each portrait unique.
